Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Dark circles and puffy eyes may occur due to nutritional deficiency, renal disease or decreased sleep. Get examined by a dermatologist and a physician. Blood investigations like Vitamin B 12, thyroid profile, renal function test, hemoglobin and blood sugar should be done. Not related to cataract surgery.
