I have a dark round marks around my bikini area and bottom area. They started small and grew bigger in time. I used the tee tree fungal gel cream but it made it flaky and itchy so I stopped. I m using dermovate cream and its become smooth but its still there. If I don t use anything, its itchy. Please help
Hi. I think one should not use steroid (dermovate in your case) without a proper diagnosis by a trained dermatologist. First of all, steroids alter the morphology of rash and hence, make the diagnosis very difficult. Also, Dermovate has clobetasol, a very potent steroid not meant for groin and bikini area. Its OK for thick skin like palm and soles. On think skin, it can cause many serious adverse effects including striae. So, stop it immediately. Apply a miconazole or sertaconazole cream twice daily for a month. Hope it helps
