What Causes Dark Colored Bleeding During Menstrual Cycle?
i am 46 years old and for this period the color is very dark - this has happened before, but this time 3 days into period and almost no flow. just a dark stain and when I go to bathroom and wipe I have dark blood. What can this be? Could I be pregnant?

Hi,
Menstrual blood is almost dark every time as it is venous deoxygenated blood. That does not mean you are pregnant. As your age is 46 and it is a perimenopausal age, there can be amenorrhea for 3 months followed by menses so don't worry.
