Hi and welcome to HCM..
I thank you for posting your query here and I'm definitely going to help you out..

I being a surgeon, we encounter so many such cases and I can say that you are Absolutely fine..
I read your question completely and have understood it well enough..

Well, dark or high colored urine in a setting of reduced water intake is absolutely normal. Do not worry for that..

I will analyze all your points and get you possible solutions..

1. Dark colored urine once or twice after you wake up from sleep is normal.
This is because, you would not have consumed water for about say, 6 to 8 hours.
It happens with almost everyone.

To test this, for couple of days.. Get up early at around 4am or so and drink half a litre water and sleep. (I know it's difficult, but it will answer your worry)

2. No other complaints whatsoever, will again go in favor of this issue being normal..
In case you still doubt, then get a urine routine and microscopy.
Simple test, which will tell you if there are any crystals, blood etc..
Most probably, reports will be normal and this will clear all your doubts.

3. Lot of caffeine, is bad my dear friend.. Please cut down on that.
And not drinking enough amount of water is against unhealthy.
Please drink at least 4 to 5 litre water a day.

Hope this helps you, in case you need further assistance, please let me know. Take care and God bless you..
