What Causes Dark Discolouration In Urine With Foul Odour?

My urine has been dark and fishy smelling for a while. I recently had a salmonella scare and described my urine concerns to the physician. He said there was no abnormalities, but I think he was referring to the salmonella only. It doesn t hurt to urinate, just smelly and embarrassing if someone is next to me at a public urinal or waiting behind me.

Hi.
Any history of recent sexual contact or vaginal discharge. What is ur urine routine and culture reports..any urinary infection. Any Ultrasound KUB report showing stone disease or echogenic debris in bladder which may indicate infection.
You may be suffering from urinary tract infection or infection with Trichomoniasis.
Drink plenty of water and if Trichomoniasis is proven take Metronidazole 500 Mg twice daily for 5 days. Also avoid public toilets unless u r cured of ur symptoms.
