I have a tiny dark dot at the bottom of my nail, I think its the eponychium on both my pointer and thumb on my left hand. They just suddenly appeared a couple of days ago. It looks like a dirt mark but its not. I can t be certain if its a blood clot. Its tiny, but visible. Any ideas?
As per your case history, you are suffering from Onychomycosis.
My treatment advice is: 1. Maintain good hygiene and trim nails regularly. 2. Apply an antifungal lotion like Clotrimazole lotion twice daily on the affected nails. 3. Other treatment options are oral Fluconazole, Itraconazole and Terbinafine drugs which can be taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
