Hello. Thanks for writing to us at healthcaremagic
The cream that you have been using is a prescription product and should never be used without a doctor's supervision.
It is a triple drug combination of tretinoin, hydroquinone and mometasone. Out of the three, Tretinoin and hydroquinone are known skin irritants. Using this cream on sensitive skin sites such as angles of the mouth, corners of lips and nasal folds is absolutely not allowed because these areas can readily develop irritation. This is exactly what seems to be going on with you.
Stop using it further. Use a gentle moisturiser, twice daily
Avoid soaps on face Or you may use a gentle cleanser, till the skin gets back to normal.
Consult a dermatologist if the condition does'nt improve as expected. Your treating dermatologist might ask you to use a moderately potent topical steroid e.g fluticasone propionate 0.05% cream, twice daily for a few days.
