What Causes Dark Patch Of Skin On Either Side Of The Bridge Of Nose?
I have a dark patch appeared over the last week or two either side of the bridge of my nose, near the eyes. What causes this? Can I do anything about it? Is it dangerous? I have been taking a low dose of oestrogen for the last three or four weeks for dryness. Could this be the cause? I am 68

It is melasma. It is not dangerous. It may be due to hormonal influence. Kindly consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. Glutathione, vitamin C and nicotinic acid tablets may be taken for a long time. Apply Kojic acid-containing gel on the patches at night, and use sun screening agent during day time.
