13 y/o Daughter has a dark patch under the skin on her foot twice in the past month or so.... once on the bottom of the foot... just recently on the side of her foot near her big toe... her foot gets hot... she s been to 2 podiatrists and 2 pediatric doctors... no one knows what it is... what can it be...
The dark patches with the complaint of burning on foot, relapsing at the same site may be fixed drug eruptions. Take history of drugs and stop the triggering drug. Apply mild steroid cream and the oral steroid in tapering dose would improve the condition. Take treatment after consulting the dermatologist.
