What Causes Dark Red Blood From Vagina For A Month?
Yes, thank your I ve been having blood from my vigina for a least a month but now it s been continuous for at least a week but this time it just does not stop it s dark red I do get crams. I also have a small cough that I thought it was anxiety but I don t know I am 47 years old and I haven t gone to doctor yet
The blood from the vagina is most likely to be old-clotted blood coming from the uterus. It could be due to an old ruptured ovarian cyst, PCOD, a uterine cyst or polyp, or endometriosis or other causes in the female genital tract. To find the exact cause for your nature of bleeding, I would suggest you to go for a thorough uterine ultrasound scan where all the structures can be visualized and we could arrive at a final conclusion.
It could also be a reason that you could be attaining menopause. The cough has nothing to do with the vaginal bleeding. I would suggest you to see your doctor for the same, and get the investigations done accordingly. Treatment can be initiated later on, as the cause is found.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
