What Causes Dark Urine After Taking Antibiotics To Prevent HIV?
hi doctor I am 21 years of age I recently had unprotected sex with a guy and I am really afraid for my health I went to the doctor three days after the incident and I told him I want something to prevent HIV and possible infections he only gave me antibiotics I notice that my urine went from a light colour to a very dark colour that s almost gold should I be worried

Antibiotics have no action on virus (only on bacteria), and they can not prevent HIV as it is caused by a virus.
Consume excess amount of water. That will relieve your problem. Consume more water, that will bring normal color to your urine. Sometimes the color added to these drugs may be revealed in urine during excretion.
