Hello,
You need to see your doctor as soon as possible. Dark discharge could be from blood. In postmenopausal women the concern with vaginal bleeding is that it is from uterine cancer. It can come from other sources such as infection or polyp so don't panic but do see your doctor as soon as possible.
You will probably need an ultrasound and possibly other testing
Regards
