Hi,

Hypermelanosis on knuckle areas may be due to deficiencies of folic acid, Vitamin B12, iron, etc. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment.

I would recommend to take vitamin tablets of folic acid and Vitamin B12. If needed, iron tablets may be taken after blood tests. Apply depigmentary cream like Kojic acid containing gel.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr Ilyas Patel,
