What Causes Darkening/cracking In Upper And Lower Lips?
Hi, my brother's upper/lower lips are darkening,and the upper lip is sometimes cracking. we noticed this for almost 2-3 months now. he's been prescribed to use ointment but the appearance / condition has not changed. could this be a symptom of something more than just darkening of lips - e.g. kidney problem. would appreciate your advice.

I can understand your worry the possibility of fungal infection is likely if I would be his doctor then I would treat him with the following medicine
1) Miconazole cream for local application
this is not the kidney problem and stop worrying for this, hope this information helps you have good day.
