What Causes Darkening Of Scar On Face?

Hi, i have a scar on my face from a finger nail scratch this the second week that it has been there and it seems to be getting darker i have used cocoa butter, vitamin E pills, scar zone cream, and black and white fade cream. is the reason its getting darker because it healing are leaving a scar?
