General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is due to degeneration following the immobilization and due to trauma. Nothing much to worry and the muscle mass will return to normal shape soon. Do physiotherapy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
