I see patients with similar complaints in my clinic routinely I would advise them to take anti acidity medicines like
pantoprazole or omeprazole with antacids for 7 to 10 days.
If symptoms doesn't improve with this than I would have referred them to gastroenterologist for an endoscopy and X ray chest.
Apart from this she should avoid fatty fried spicy and junk food
Avoid alcohol and smoking
