What Causes Decreased Peripheral Vision In A Heart Patient?

Hello, my dad was recently discharged from hospital after a stroke. It s been one week. Today he says he has decreased field of vision in his right eye, like can t see the peripheral vision on that side. He has been confused, which is why we took him to the hospital to begin with. He thinks his vision changes might be related to constipation. He is a retired radiologist, so he should know what he s talking about, but it could be the confusion. I m more concerned that his stroke is progressing. What do you think?

Hello,

Due to stroke there is effect of peripheral field, ACNS involvement. Field tracing should be done and it can be recorded. Fundus examination to exclude holes tear and peripheral detachment. Stroke evaluation can be done by MRI and clinical examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
