What Causes Dehydration While On Zanaflex?
I have been on zanaflex 4 mg for a few months now, wonderful med, dehydrates me really bad, but water can fix that! I was wondering, i at times out of no where have to take a giant inhale and out, is that a side affect and also does zan effect my heart at all? Thanks

Hello
Dear the drug is centrally acting Alfa 2 agonist so major side effect is dryness of mouth so it is not due to dehydration it is due to side effect.
Chew few ice cubes or drink plenty of water.If symptoms are heavy please consult your doctor he will examine and treat with alternate medicine.
