What Causes Dehydration?

The other day I went to the pool for about 30 minutes without eating, I felt fine but when I got home and began to take a hot shower I got extremely dizzy, legs got weak, my vision got blurry and tunnel like, my hearting started to go in and out , and I almost threw up. I drank some fruit punch really quick and some of the symptoms went away. Im a female... Could this be a simple case of being dehydrated or something different?

Hi welcome to HCM ..

According to history it Seems to be dehydration or hypoglycemia by over work....

Your blood pressure should also be checked.....

After taking fluid now your symptoms improving suggest no significant pathological condition....

Take rest for few days....

While doing heavy work maintain hydration by taking lots of fluid and timely meal...

For hypoglycemia detection you can measure your blood sugar level ...

If dizziness not improving then ear examination done ...to rule out otological causes ....

Consult physician for this.....

Take care ....
