What Causes Delay In Menstruation After Taking Postinor-2?
Hi, I finished my period on d 7th of october and ave sex wit my boifrnd on d 9th to 11th and used postinor2 dat Sunday and took the two at the same since day till now ave not seen my period. Is it dat am pregnant or what and is my first time taking the drug

The possibility of pregnancy on days 2 -5 days after the menses is very low even without any post coital emergency contraceptive pills; though it is not impossible. However, I hope you have taken the pills within 72 hours of the first unprotected sexual intercourse.
These emergency contraceptive pills may have following after effects:
1. Few days after the consumption of the pills, there could be some bleeding for few days. This does not need any medical attentions and stops of its own.
2. The following period after these pills may get delayed by few days to a week. Since you have taken double dose at a time, your periods may be delayed for little longer time.
If your menses are delayed for more than 10 days, then please perform pregnancy test on your overnight morning first urine sample. You may then please report to your Gynaecologist.
