What Causes Delay In Period Inspite Of Being On Birth Control Pills?

I have been on the birth control pill for 2 months now. I finished my active pills Sunday and was suppose to start the sugar pills but I skipped them and waited for my period to come the last sugar pill was suppose to be taken today and I am suppose to start my active pills again tomorrow but I have not yet started my period. Do I go ahead and start the active pills again tomorrow or wait for my period??

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Even the oral contraceptive pills have a failure rate of 0.1 % and thus can cause pregnancy. Therefore, to be sure, get a urine pregnancy test done and if negative, then you should start the next pill packet on the scheduled date .
