What Causes Delay In Period?

Basically i'm quite sexually active, and last week i forgot to take my contraceptive pill, but have caught up with it and my last pill was on monday which is meant to be the week i start my period, my period was meant to come yesterday but has not come, i'm very worried

Do not worry.
Get urine test your for pregnancy.
If it is negative( first morning sample).
options.
1-wait for a week.repeat urine test every 3 rd day.
2-Consult your Gynecologist for physical examination .she would prescribe
tablet deviry( progesteron) 10 mg twice a day for 5 days.again wait for 5 days withdrawal bleeding would occur.
3-if you have unprotected sex. doctor would prescribe tablet mifepristone 600 mg one single dose on first day ,followed by misopristol 400mcg singe dose after 2 days.
do not hesitate to ask again.
