What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Having Negative UPT?
Hello dr. My wife is using contraceptive pills and she is taking it regularly since last period but this time her period got skipped and we have tested pregnancy test which came negative but it's been around 45 days still no sign of period what to do?

Repeat urine pregnancy test if still negative than she has to take primolut N twice a day for 5 days after which she will get her menses.

I understand your
Few contraceptives (specially progesterone derivatives).are known to cauae irregular periods.... specially in the begining.If she is taking pills strictly as per advise,daily at same time of the day .. without a brake. .. she should continue to take pills as per routine.
In case there is no period next time.. take her to her gynecologist for examination &further evluation /management.
