What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Taking Postinor-2?
I had unprotected sex with bf 14 and 15th October after my period which had ended on 10th and I didn’t take any pills after. Later on this month I engaged in unprotected sex on 3rd and I took the P2 after. My period is now 3days late. I’m worried the P2 may have affected. Help?..

Hi,
You have taken emergency contraceptive pill after unprotected intercourse. It is very effective in preventing pregnancy if taken within 72 hour. Normally period cycle can varies up to 5 to 6 days.
So chance of pregnancy is less. But it is not 100% effective, so if your period is delayed for week then rule out pregnancy by urine hcg card test.
