So I took gynaset tablet for last two days twice a day and stopped now. When can I get my period? I have to get period before marriage please advise me and suggest me to get period earlier.

Hallow Dear,

Gynaset pills are Norethindrone pills. Norethindrone is a progestational preparation. After discontinuing these pills, usually there is withdrawal bleeding after 4-7 days. In fact some people are using these pills for detecting pregnancy.

Since, you are unmarried girl without any sexual exposure and due for marriage, pregnancy seems to be out of question. The stress of marriage also may delay the periods; however, it should respond to Gynaset.

I feel you took Gynaset for less number of days. Take them continuously for 5 days and you should get withdrawal bleeding within 4-7 days. If you do not get, please report to your Gynaecologist to evaluate the underlying cause.

I hope this helps you.
