I can understand your concern. If you have history of unprotected sexual intercourse, you should take a home pregnancy test. The test kit is available over-the-counter in all medical stores. Read the instructions carefully on the pack. You have to urinate on the indicator area of the stick and wait for 5-10 minutes for the results. The indicator area will show (+) or (-) sign indicating positive or negative pregnancy test, respectively.
If the test is negative, you might be suffering from polycystic ovaries, thyroid dysfunction, premature ovarian follicle or infection of the uterus or ovaries that requires physical examination and further investigations by the gynecologist for the specific diagnosis and further management. So you will need to visit a gynecologist. I would like to note here that unprotected sexual intercourse can make you pregnant and also can transmit sexually transmitted diseases so consider using condoms next time.
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Take care.
