What Causes Delay In Periods Though Have Bloating, Cramps, Soreness In Ribcage, Excess Discharge?

Hello i am worried because i was supposed to get my menstrual Dec 28th and it still has not come, but im bloating, had cramps for two days, and now my rib cage is sore and i have excess discharge. It is so much that i run to the bathroom thinking my menstraul has come. I took a hpt and it came back negative, what could it possibly be?

The commonest cause of absence of menses or delayed menses is a pregnancy. It is urgent to get a pregnancy test done first. In case the pregnancy test is negative, other causes like stress and hormonal disturbances could explain these abnormalities. It is urgent to check for sexually transmitted infections to explain excess discharge. I suggest you get a review by a doctor. Kind regards
