What Causes Delay In Periods While On Thyronorm?
Hi, I have been prescribed Thyronorm 12.5 mg tablet for a month. I am taking this medication past 15 days and my periods are delayed a week. I underwent IUI procodure on august and got delayed period after 35days. on sep 6th My usual cycle is 28days. I am suppose to get it on 4th oct but i didt get yet. I got negative pregancy test on 9th. Does thyorid tablet interfering with my period cycle. it would be great to know. Thank you.

Hypothyroidism can cause delayed periods. You can go for a thyroid function test to check whether your thyroid status is normal or not. If you are hypothyroid, your periods will return to normal rhythm once the euthyroid state is achieved.
