Hi,

Delay in periods might be due to change in weight either overweight or underweight, changes in hormonal status, stress, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), Thyroid problems or nutritional deficiencies etc. To confirm pregnancy, a maximum of 10 days from your missed periods would suffice. I suggest you to repeat one HPT or do beta HCG test for reliable results.

Also, check hemoglobin levels and thyroid function test to find out iron deficiency anemia or thyroid disorder if any. Consult your gynecologist for further assistance.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
