What Causes Delay In Periods?

Im 23 and A year and a half ago I found out I had vertigo and the symptoms lastest for a couple months then they disappeared and I havent had it since. Now recently This past july I missed my period for the month which is not normal as im on a regular schedule since I had my kid 3yrs ago. I didny even have signs for a period, come august my period came.on time.of my normal schedule, now again in September I am 2weeks late. Anyway 5days ago we had a party weekend and I dont normally drink so 4 mikes hard lemonade I was drunk and ended up.waking up the next day dizzy and nauseous. I figured hangove so no big deal, but everyday since then I have been nauseous and dizzy to where I can barely stand, reminding me of when I had vertigo and I have a random pain in my right here here and there as well. My first thought is I have vertigo again, but with the menstrual problem as well im.concerned and not sure what might be wrong. Any clue?

Hello,

You are having delay in your periods, you are 2 weeks late. You have history of vertigo and presently you are feeling nauseous with dizziness, weakness. You are having symptoms of dizziness after you recently got drunk and are not comfortable since then. If you are sexually active, you are suggested to get a urine test done with the first morning midstream urine to detect pregnancy.

You are suggested to get clinically examined by a gynecologist to detect bulky uterus, You may have to get USG (Uterus with fallopian tubes) done to rule out ectopic pregnancy. Whether pregnant or not, you will be treated accordingly as delay in periods can also be due to anemia, poor general health condition, PCOS, etc. Stay at rest, take home made food, avoid stress. Your dizziness should go away. If not get clinically examined by an ENT, you may need medicines. Stay away from alcohol, smoking and any other addiction.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
