What Causes Delay In Periods ?

I am on levlen ed pills and had been advised to skip my period for a few months. So I did, I have started a new pack and am now on the second week and have gotten my period. Whilst skipping my period I have still been having sex. What does this usually mean ?

Levlen ED pills comprise of hormonal pills for the first 21 days to be followed by 7 pills of Lactose. During the phase of these Lactose pills, woman gets menses. So I do not understand how are you going to skip your periods by taking these packs? To skip your menses, you have to skip the lactose pills and take hormonal pills continuously.

Therefore, you have got bleeding in second week after starting a new pack. It is likely that this is break through bleeding. If it is so, it will stop within few days. You may take two pills to stop break through bleeding (with Gynaecologist's advice only).

Since you are so regular on your pills, it is unlikely that you will be pregnant even with regular sexual activity.
