What Causes Delay In Withdrawal Bleeding Despite Taking Unwanted-72 After Intercourse?

I had sex with my boyfriend on may 4th night and again on may 6th (unprotected). I took unwanted-72 on may 7th morning. I havent got my withdrawal bleeding yet. Today is 5th day after taking tablet. I am al PCOD patient. My parents have taken an appointment to a endocrinologist. I ll visist her in 2-3 days.1. Will she diagnose that I have taken plab-b? ( i may have a blood test and urine test) 2. I am experiencing vomiting temptation and abdomen pain since two days. Is it a part of withdrawal bleeding? 3. Is there chance of me being pregnant? 4. If yes, what is the next step? 5. I am 18 and not married. Is it legal to go for a medical abortion? Please help me. I am so nervous.

Hello,

As per my understanding, you took plan B within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse. This can prevent most of the unplanned pregnancies ( 85%). The date of your last period & also your PCOD history is important here in determining the expected bleed. Blood or urine pregnancy test should be helpful in resolving your doubts. No, it will not diagnose that you have taken Plan B. Abortion rules are different in different countries. So, I cannot comment without knowing your location. If you are not ready for a pregnancy, start using a regular & reliable birth control option like combined pills to avoid any such problem in future after discussing with a Gynecologist & making sure your current status.
