What Causes Delayed Period After Unprotected Sex While UPT Is Negative?
hi my girlfriend is 5 days late for her period she is on low dose birth control we have had unprotected sex a few times the past few weeks but i nor ejaculated in her i am stressing on the possibility she might be pregnant she took a test that read negative but it was a cheap test plz help

Understand your concern
As your gf in the lower dose of birth controls pill from the starting of the cycle ans she was on regular then chance of pregnancy is nil.
With in 5 days of delayed period, urine pregnancy test will give negative result. It will come positive 8-10 days after delayed period. But accurate test to diagnose pregnancy is Blood HCG as it detect the pregnancy with in 7 week of delayed period.
So go for Blood HCG or wait for 5 days more and again do urine pregnancy kit.
Other cause of delayed period are: Hormonal imbalance, stress, change in life style and eating habit and thyroid dysfunction.
All should be evaluated by consulting the gynecologist in absence of pregnancy and if period will not come.
