What Causes Delayed Period And Brownish Vaginal Discharge While HPT Is Negative?
My period was a week late so I took a pregnancy test it was negative. Went to my dr and she said wait a week and re test....I just started bleeding about 3 or 4 days ago started off brown and is now a light brownish colour...and you can see my tummy is starting to harden and my symptoms have not gone away is this implantation bleeding?
Implantation occurs around D21-D23 of regular cycle (7 to 9 days after ovulation). Your period is delayed for one week and it is quite UNLIKE for implantation bleeding after D35 and your recent pregnancy test is also NEGATIVE.
Reasons are old blood, endometrial tissue, hormonal imbalance, stress/ depression, vaginal/ pelvic infection etc.
You can repeat the test to clear doubt. Please consult with gynecologist for complete health check up with relevant investigation. Take proper medicine accordingly.
Maintain genital hygiene. Avoid stress. Practice safe sex in future. Good luck.
