What Causes Delayed Period And Sweating With Diabetes?

i have type 2 diabetis and take two metformen daily could this be my sugar level i am 55 and i also have never had a period for three years could this also be the cause and when im doing anything like house work i sweat

Hi,

If you are having unusual sweating during this period, it might be related to:
- drops in blood sugar levels
- hormonal problems you are having (menopause) as you are not having your periods for 3 years
- thyroid problems.

I advise to measure your blood sugar levels and blood pressure when you are sweating to exclude hypoglycemia and hypotension. If nothing, then, should get your thyroid checked. If still everything is fine, then, it is because of menopause.

Try to drink more water, have your meals regularly and get primrose oil supplement to improve symptoms you are having.
