What Causes Delayed Period, Diarrhea And Stomach Pain In A Virgin?

My period is a month late. I m a virgin. Just yesterday I had diarrhea, and my stomach had really bad pains that would come and go every 5 minutes all the way till this morning, and both my hip bones feel bruised, but there are no bruises. What s going on?

Hi, Dr Purushottam Neurgaonkar here. . I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

1 ) First of all do not panic.

2 ) Delayed periods can be due to hormonal changes in the ovaries. As you have mentioned that there is no chance of pregnancy, you can simply wait for the onset of periods or induce the periods with Tab Regestrone 5 mg twice a day for 5 days.

2 ) Your stomach upset and diarrhoea is a totally different issue. It can be due to some kind of infection through food or water . You need to take anti diarrhoeal medicines and antispasmodic medicines.
You need to correct your hydration .

3 ) if you are not getting periods regular basis, getting a USG done will be of help.
