What Causes Delayed Period Followed By Thick Menstrual Flow?
First off my period was late on my 1st day it was light pink, on my 2nd day my flow was light but now My period is red thick, stretchy, and creamy but its not heavy it s light I m On my 3rd day already and I ve been late before but it s never started like this. Is this normal.

The menstrual flow depends upon the thickness of the uterine lining. Usually when there is heavy bleeding the endometrial thickness does not increase much.
Hence bleeding is lighter following heavy menstrual bleeding.
observe your next periods.
if still scanty than you need to undergo blood tests like LH,FSH, Prolactin, thyroid tests.
Also ultrasound of uterus to see the thickness of uterine lining.
