What Causes Delayed Period, Headaches And Back Pain After Having C-section?
I had a c section in January and I had periods since this but the last 2 months I haven t I have been having pains in my left side and back and now I am suffering with headaches I have had this headache for two days now and it hurts when I cough and also when I move my head. What is wrong with me??
Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Pain in lower abdomen and back is common after childbirth due to excessive straining of the abdominal and back muscles. However, other causes like urinary tract infection and pelvic infection should be ruled out. Headache, which is aggravated on movement, is likely due to migraine or cervical spondylitis. I will suggest you to consult a neurologist for proper examination, investigations and get appropriate treatment timely. Hope you found the answer helpful. Regards Dr Deepti Verma OBGYN
