What Causes Delayed Period?

Hello my name is qui & my breast have been sore and leaking a cloudy liquids also my period was 5 days off & on just spotting what could this mean??? I took a pregnancy test last month it was neg and then i had that weird period should i take another test or just wait to see if my body goes back to normal as far as my period? Help please!!!

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. If you had a similar situation in the previous cycle also, hormone imbalance is the first thing to be considered. Home pregnancy test reads well when performed 3-7 days after the missed period with a fresh early morning sample. The blood test is an earlier and better way to clarify. If pregnancy is negative, you can get checked for other causes. A sonogram of the pelvis preferably in the trans-vaginal route, blood counts and urinalysis should be done along with hormone profile.
