What Causes Delayed Periods After Taking Adderall?
Hi, I took Adderall today for my exam but I ve been worrying because I missed my period and it s been 38 days since my last cycle. I ve had unprotected sex, but I also took my urine pregnancy test and it said that I am negative. I ve had unprotected sex 13 days ago. Am i pregnant?
Hi , I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Adderall does not leads to alteration in the menstrual cycle. Unprotected intercourse can lead to pregnancy. Sometimes, the ovulation is delayed and hence the conception of pregnancy is delayed. In this situation, the urine pregnancy test comes positive a bit delayed. Delayed periods can also be due to stress, hormonal disturbances like hypothyroidism, hyperprolactemia or polycystic ovarian disease. I would suggest you to get a urine pregnancy test done, if negative then do consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated and treated accordingly.
