What Causes Delayed Periods After Taking Folic Acid Tablets?
I took a folic acid in 2 weeks time, i use to have a regular period but after drinking folic acid, I am now 4days delayed on my period, I am 100% sure that I am not pregnant because we haven t had any contact. What would be the reason for my delayed period?

Delayed periods is not a known side effect of Folic acid in its usual dose of 5 mgs per day. You would have to think of other causes for the delay. Delayed periods can be due to a number of causes including stress.
