If you have taken the emergency contraceptive pill within 24 hours of unprotected intercourse, the possibility of pregnancy is less. Emergency contraceptive pill because of the high dose of hormones in it can alter The menstrual period. Sometimes if you take the pill during the second half of the cycle that can delay your menstrual period. Primolut-N contains the progesterone.
Till you take this tablet y will not get the periods. After stopping the tablets only, you will get the withdrawal bleeding. Better not to take this tablet, as the emergency contraceptive pill also contains progesterone, the effect of Primolut-N will add to that. Please check for either urine or blood test for pregnancy. If the test gives a negative result, you can wait for a few more days and possibly you may get withdrawal bleeding by that time.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
