I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it said negative. Why have I not started yet?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
I read your query carefully.
As per details,
Your menstural cycle is delay, it can be a side effect of contraceptive pills.
You should wait till you get your periods.
If there is delay more than 2-3 weeks then I would suggest you to go for Urine pregnancy test.
After that go for Ultrasound (pelvis). And consult with your Gynaecologist.

Hope so it will be helpful.
You can write again in case of any query or follow up.
Wish you Good health.
Regards
