What Causes Delayed Periods And Pinkish Discharge?

Hi, my period is 10 days late I took a pregnancy test and it was negative and then I started bleeding but it has only been light pink/red and it hasn't gotten any heavier or I haven't passed any clots...I was wondering if I could be pregnant or if it's just my period

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi,

Delayed periods and pinkish discharge are suggestive of irregularities in menstrual cycle which may be due to hormonal irregularities, so I will suggest you to have a thyroid profile test and prolactin test done as these symptoms can be due to these abnormality. Start a oral contraceptive pills course for 3 cycles.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
