What Causes Delayed Periods Even After Taking Buserelin Acetate?
Hi Dr. I am a 34 year old African female who was placed on Buserelin acetate in order to thin the endometrium before a therapeutic SSG to take out uterine calcifications. I commenced the injections on day 20 of my cycle up till day 30 when I expected to get my period. This is day 40 of my cycle and I am yet to get my period. Is this normal? I have a 28-29 day cycle, which is regular.

Delayed periods can happen with thin endometrium. It’s quite common and you will regain normal flow after sometime.
