What Causes Delayed Periods With Negative HPT?

Hi. My last period was at the start of February. I normally have a period the first week of the month. I have now missed to periods. I have regular unprotected sex with my long term partner. I have done a pregnancy test and it is negative. But something isnt right. Can you help? Thankyou
