What Causes Delayed Periods With Weight Gain?

I m on the implant and I ve been on it since February last year, since having it I haven t had one single period and my weight gain etc stayed the same, I have unprotected sex with my partner a lot but over the past few weeks I have had heavy brown discharge, my breasts seem to be getting fuller, I have small bumps around my nipples, and I m putting on a lot of weight, I can t get full so I m eating all the time..usually I get full really easily and can only eat small amounts of food.and I ve been getting random food cravings..I ve got a docs appointment to have my implant taken out on Monday and a pregnancy test while there..but I need answers now..I want a baby and I don t want to et too excited as yet..can you help?

Hello,

The symptoms you are experiencing can either be due to pregnancy or due to Implanon. Blood and urine pregnancy tests are required to confirm/rule out pregnancy.

It is difficult to give you a definite answer right now. You can also take a home urine pregnancy test.
