I made a very foolish decision and began taking primot nor for months in order not to have any cycles. Quite honestly I was relieved by the freedom of not having a monthly cycles. However after finally doing some research, I stopped taking the hormones. My cycle returned - it was a bit more long and heavy than in the past, but mostly normal. I am now 7 days late for my next cycle and I'm wondering if I have created a disaster and confused my body terribly or if perhaps I could be pregnant??
Hello, I have gone through your query. You did not mention if you received only one period after discontinuing hormones. If it was only one period and you did not see a period the second month, it is more likely that you are experiencing hormone imbalance. If however, you did see regular periods for a few cycles and missed a period subsequently, presuming that you are sexually active, it is more likely that you are pregnant. Either way, you need proper clinical appraisal to plan further management. Please see a specialist for further help. Take care.
