What Causes Delayed Urination?

Hello i had UTI and was prescribe Ciprotab antibiotics but 3 days into use i started having delay urination its 4 months now i still have to wait for 30 seconds before i urinate no matter how urgent it comes please whats the likely problem and solution

Hi Dear !! Thanks for your query to HCM .
Read and reviewed your query and health concerns.
You seems to suffer from-?BEP with UTI with ? prostatitis causing delay in urination.If no BEP-hidden STD needs to be ruled out by tests with Urologist.
Delayed urination is since 4 mths.current antibiotics not working after 3 days of intake.
Do's Suggested-
In such a scenario,I would suggest you to get Urine culture and treat as per the culture report on sensitive antibiotics.
If no relief- Send for AFB urine and Urine culture for AFB and see if that is the cause for the delayed urination-which is from a UTI which is not responding in your case.
LCR test on urine and blood to rule out undiagnosed STD needs to be ruled out in your case.
Other causes of UTI causing delayed start from Urethritis and Cystitis with accompanied prostatitis needs to be ruled out.
For this Second opinion with team of Physician / Surgeon and if need be Urologist doctor would be helpful to come out of this intriguing delayed urination in your case.
